Multiple models of cereal storage silos in Granozzo Con Monticello

Ravaro Costruzioni Meccaniche, a leading company in the design and construction of equipment for the agricultural and food industries, has developed four different models of silos which offer ideal features for the optimal storage of leguminous cereals.

Flat-bottomed silos

Used for the containment of grains in granules, silos in galvanised corrugated sheet with a circular base with a high resistance to corrosion (zinc coating 450 GR / M2) up to 31mt in diameter. The silo body is made of high-strength galvanised steel sheet with a high elasticity limit, with a 104x12 mm ripple, type Z450. The roofs are made of sheet AZ185, which has a life of at least twice that of galvanised steel. In the large size silos, the roofs are made with galvanised steel internal carpentry. The uprights are positioned outside the silos with a centre distance of 930mm, so as to give the silos better resistance to the vertical stress of the cereal. All nuts and bolts are fully hot-dip galvanised and therefore highly-resistant.

Conical bottom silos

Galvanised corrugated sheet silo with a circular base and a 45° or 60° hopper, ideal for storing green cereals. It has a conical bottom to contain food products.

Quick-loading silos

Galvanized corrugated sheet silo with a circular base and a 45° or 60° hopper on a wooden framework, which is used for loading cereals on means of transport such as trucks and trains (unloading occurs by gravity). The use of this type of silos speeds up the loading, making the cereal always available without having to resort to the use of mechanical transport.

Square or rectangular cell silos

Corrugated sheet metal silos in different combinations of materials and dimensions with a flat or hollow bottom, either square or rectangular. It is the ideal solution to make optimal use of usable space, especially when storing granular products such as leguminous cereals.
